A nice moist cake with chocolate spread and chocolate icing.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. In a pot add the ingredients for the syrup and boil for 5 minutes. Set aside and leave it to cool. Once the cake is done pour over it the cold syrup.
  2. *tip hot cake cold syrup or cold cake hot syrup *
  3. In a bowl we add the butter and sugar using a mixer we mix until nice and fluffy we then add the eggs one by one, the vanilla, continuing to mix after they are incorporated we add our flour, baking powder at the end we mix are chocolate spinkles with 1/2 tsp of flour and add it to our cake batter, mix it in with a spoon.
  4. Butter and flour a cake pan add the cake batter in and bake in a preheated oven at 180C for approximately 40 minutes.
  5. Remove the cake and add the cold syrup over it.
  6. Set aside and make the chocolate icing, in a pot warm the evaporated milk until hot without boiling remove from heat and add the couverture chocolate wait for 1-2 minutes and stir until homogenized, leave it to cool while stirring now and then.
  7. Add then the icing to the cake.
