  1. For the dough
  2. Sift the baking powder into the flour and then add the oil and beer. Knead the dough and make small sized tennis balls from it.
  3. Bake for 20 minutes at 200°C. After baking, soak the beer biscuits in the warm syrup and when they have absorbed enough, sprinkle them with shredded coconut.
  4. For the syrup
  5. Boil the water and sugar for about 15 minutes. Towards the end, add the vanilla extract and a little lemon juice. Let cool.
