Chicken in tomatoe sauce / kokinisto kotopoulo

- In a pot add the olive oil wait for it to get hot and add the chicken pieces, let them get a nice and golden color on both sides remove and continue with the rest of the pieces. Once you are done add to the pot the diced onions and garlic and all the spices except for the salt, saute for a while and add the red win, let the wine evaporate and add all the chicken pieces add water about 3-4 cups of water bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer for 40-45 minutes. Then add the tomatoe puree and the salt to taste, simmer until the sauce is nice and thick, and the chicken is nice and tender.
- Serve with spaghetti or rice or french fries.
