Savory pumpkin soup.

  1. Clean the pumpkin, peel it and cut it into large cubes, place it in a baking pan and bake it in a preheated oven until it softens. When it's cooked, let it drain well all its liquidsin a colander,set aside. In a pot, add the butter and olive oil and saute the onion until golden and add the spices and the bullion, then add the pumpkin and plenty of water, let it boil for 20 minutes, taste if the seasoning is as you please, and puree with the hand blender. Boil to thicken more if you want to get that creamy thick texture. After it reaches the right texture, velvety and relatively thick, add some heavy cream. Serve with breadsicks and nuts!
