A greek traditional harty soup for the cold winter.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Wash your lentils place them in a pot add water and bring to a boil,let it boil for 7 minutes remove from heat strain and add fresh water to your pot. Place on the stove and add the onions, garlic, rosemary, bay leaf, oregano and black pepper. Bring to a boil and add the lentils you want the water to be just above and a little more over your lentils. Boil until the lentils are nice and soft, then add the tomato puree the salt to taste, and last the oil. Once they are done remove from heat and add the wine vinegar. Serve with fresh bread.
